A Local Institution in Arlington since 1980, the Owners of the existing, Family-Owned Italian Store decided to expand and open a new location at the Historic Westover Neighborhood in Arlington, VA. 2SCALE worked closely with Owner, Bob Tramonte, and his team to design a new, larger store with new retail components. Wanting to maintain the existing rustic feel yet add some modern touches, 2SCALE incorporated some of the Color Schemes and Design Elements from the original store including the natural oak millwork and green accents found in the gourmet grocery and deli. The new location features a larger, separate pizza area, modern espresso bar, and Italian Terra Cotta Tiles, Marble, and Lighting. The store also includes a patio seating area.
